Re: Now Playing...
I know what you mean. Me and a friend were watching another playing Legend of Zelda: Master Quest yesterday and we kept rolling our eyes at each other because he sucked so much at it. "Go there... no, not right you fucking idiot!"

Kaptain Kaviar wrote:It's essentially the combat system from KOTOR where you pause and give commands to your allies, while maintaining direct control over a single character. You can setup elaborate tactics in between battles, like having your mage heal you if your health dips between 10 percent or having a warrior intercept anyone targeting the mage. You can directly control your actions by mapping shortcuts to your action bar giving you up to 6 abilities you can activate in real time whilst the other are available if your pause the game.
This is a better explanation. To be honest, I prefer to get stuck right into the action alone, not having to worry about your mates and things. It's clearly just me though, I mean everyone else seems to love it. For the same reason, I'm not much of an RTS guy either. I'm a whore for guns, blood and men with deep voices. This is where the Gears series steps in.

I now have an exam tomorow, then 20 days to consume alcohol, and play this and Left For Dead.
Then Mass Effect 2 and Screenwriting

I'm finally getting my teeth (excuse the pun) into AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity.
What a damned awesome game. It's so incredibly thrilling and it hits all the right spots for me. I love jumping in games, especially jumping from heights, and this game, this fucking game!

nearly finsihed bayonetta, have to agree its such an amazing game, quick, out of control, funny, and them musics not bad either. 9/10, if the final few levels deliver, which i have been assured they do.

Picked up Bayonetta today and just finished chapter 3 I think. Seems awesome so far. The combat is great.

I won't have Bayonetta until later on in the week, maybe even the weekend, but until then I have a friend's copy of Borderlands to plough through instead.

Re: Now Playing...
Bayonetta is unbelievable. I've been playing for a few hours today, and I think I am currently on chapter 6...
*SPOILER*
The part when Bayonetta is protecting the little girl, I have just killed the clone thing of Bayonetta and am about to fight Joy, but I have to go to work now!
But the boss battles are unbelievable. To be honest, up to this point the game has seemed pretty much flawless. I wasn't big into DMC4, but this is just fantastic. The combat, visuals, the general style...I suppose the plot is a little bit mad, but it really takes nothing away from the experience.

Re: Now Playing...
It took me so far into Banjo to realize that putting 12 of the same engine on the car wont make it any faster

The town's meant to be a more platformy area, though. I love piling on loads of engines for insane speeds
Oh man, I forgot we could share blueprints. You connected to Live Dangly?

The great thing is that you get to express yourself in the game and participate in the creative process yourself. You're rewarded for your efforts because of the way it's built. It's not like a AAA action game where you sit down and expect to be entertained with minimal effort.
