Re: Now Playing...
Yeah, it reminds me alot of Saints Row 2, there are a lot of issues, but the game itself is so damn entertaining and pretty.
Hey, a comparison with Avatar is possible. You liked Avatar, but the Saboteur.

Re: Now Playing...
I didn't like Dragon Age, Far Cry 2, or The Saboteur. Sean. Ugh. It is insane how stereotyped he is. I have no idea where he is supposed to be from, but it isn't any county or part of Ireland I'm aware of...its also ugly as hell. The black and white sections looked better than the color sections, and that was a nice idea. It seemed like pretty good fun though, apart from the fact that the disguises are pretty much useless, and they sort of draw more attention to you than if you hadn't been wearing one. The driving is all over the place, and incredibly stiff. The music is great though, and some of the burlesque style places have a real sexy atmosphere because of it. The climbing is pretty pathetic, especially since I played it after just completing Assassins Creed 2...
4/10 from me...sorry guys

I did think the climbing wasn't thatgood at first but it started to grow on me. The disguises can be a bit annoying at times too. It just seems to work together really well though, well I think it does. Like Dangly said, it's thesame with Avatar, all the content works together. Though you've ruined the theory now... a 10 for Avatar and a 4 for The Saboteur

My brother bought me Uncharted 2. People weren't joking when they said it was like a movie

Re: Now Playing...
I've 52% progress completed in U2 and its much better than the 90% I played of U1. Probably the best single player campaign I've ever played
Its very scripted though. I don't think I'd enjoy it half as much if I were to play it through again.

still playing dragon age, cannot beleive how much i can get into it, iv lost hours to it over the last two days, so immersive, the dialouge is amazing, its great how much of a background the characters have, save perhaps the guy i found in the cage and the drunk dwarf,....just..wow...GOTY, providing the rest of the game delivers.

Random fact of the day. Me and Jamie had the exact same trophies in The Saboteur and inFamous until I played more of inFamous.

Re: Now Playing...
Lastest game I've played is Brütal Legend. The intro took me by surprised, found it really cool. The RTS elements aren't as bad as I thought they would be, and it's been kinda fun. Not been on it much, though, just once on Christmas day and yesterday; not really compelled to play it much.

Re: Now Playing...
I haven't played much of my Christmas/Birthday games yet. Done a few chapters on Uncharted 2 and it seems to maintain the magic that was present in the original. I know it came under some criticism for its narrative approach but I think that's just a necessity in games nowadays. Uncharted 2 raises the bar for 'movie-like', videogaming interpellation.
Haven't had any time to play much CoD: MW2 or Assassins Creed 2 just yet.

Finished Assassins Creed 2 yesterday, and it was pretty solid. Not sure if I prefer it to the original or not... didn't like the atmosphere is this one as much. I'll no doubt buy the third installment anyway.

Re: Now Playing...
Mirrors Edge AKA Convenient Architecture: The Game. One big trial and error speed run separated by rubbish looking animations to remind you the game actually has a plot and a shit one at that. There is some fun to be had but overall I wouldn't reccomend it.

Nuts and Bolts. Very fun and original racing game with a great, simple construction system that allows plenty of room to be creative. I wish the challenges had been more exciting more often but still I found myself having a really good time winning with my built from scratch contraptions. If there's some way of getting your pics online I'll show you some of my creations when I get the internet at home.

Next stop, Dragon Age. I like beinn a Dwarf Rogue commoner. Started as the son of the king of the dwarves but found the higher class dwarves to be total cunts and thus chose to be a casteless peasant. Can't wait to see what happens when I return to my homeland to get support against the blight. They're quite pissed off that a casteless was chosen to join the grey wardens. I wear my casteless face tatoo with pride motherfucker!

Ah I'm working on the 8th so I'll get it then. Our shop is giving away some pretty sweet Bayonetta Revolver or something with the special edition. Might pick it up if its not too much extra.
