I preferred the core elements in the first (the running, climbing and HUD at least), but the rest is ace. Not sure if I like the Italian cities as much as Acre, Masyaf and whatever else it was.

To expand, I'm shit at climbing on this one. Ezio insists on leaping the wrong way (and to his death) if you don't get it completely right. Also the controls seem a little inconsistent; it appears to me that sometimes you'll have to press A to climb on something, when other times it just wants you to hold the joystick upwards.

Finished Cod... meh pretty much sums it up. Underwhelming.

My friends playing AC 2 with no HUD and in Italian, claims its the only way to be played.

L4D2 seems as fun as ever too, had a few beers and played it split screen with a mate last night, fun times ensued.

That's how I intend to play it.

Went and got 39/69 stars on Spec Ops last night on MW2. Enjoyed it loads, especially the AC130 mission. Stuck on the first one with Juggernauts, just can't get to the extraction zone without being blitzed sideways.

Anyone close or got 69 yet?

A friend of mine has had 1000G on it for a few days now. No idea how.

cant really get into spec ops, juggernauts should be really considered overpowered when they are surviving point blank head shots with a shotgun.

The 69 stars on spec ops would be insanely difficult to get. The campaign was pretty easy though, even on veteran. I have around 13 achievements left to get, including the intel ones etc.

So I had a quick go on this "Modern Warfare 2" thing everybody's been on about. Really not my kind of game. I already knew that anyway, I just thought I'd confirm it. But graphically, it's beautiful, even on the downstairs CRT piece of crap.

... and I may have taken my friend's world ranking down by about 3000 places in just two team deathmatch games.

Am I the only one who doesn't like any Call of Duty graphics? I've always thought (apart from COD2) that it's graphically below par.

Edit: Finished Assassin's Creed 2 yesterday. It was awesome. 8/10.

Yeah, I fucking hate MW2 now. I'm just bad at losing/winning, however you look at it. If hadn't spent 70 quid on the hardened edition I'd trade it in.

I finished Assassin's Creed 2 aswell. 9/10. Yep, it's 3 points better than the original.

Traded in AC2 yesterday and picked up L4D2. Seems like good fun, if exactly like the original.

Fucking horrendous. Worst shooter I've played in a long time, probably the worst Bond game since the 8-bit days, and that's working on the assumption that there was some even less tolerable NES take on the franchise.

Utter shit. So bad that I saw it through so I could laugh at what crime against good game design would be committed next.

Someone on X360 thought Rogue Agent was the N64 Goldeneye and thought it was overrated. Well, I think that's what he's refering to.
