It's Chance and his bro from I Love New York. These shows are all so staged btw.

I do like it, I was hooked on the first listen. I just haven't got a clue how to describe it without contradicting myself or doing it justice. I've tried.

Judging on both of your reactions, this I have to hear.

AFI - Crash Love

8/10

Return to form after two slightly off albums. Plus Davey looks buff and not like a woman anymore. Musically, it's really good; tight and a lot more upbeat than the majority of their works. Standout tracks include lead single Medicate, which is a Lostprophets-esque swine-flu hit, pop-rock inspired Too Shy To Scream, and the hands-in-air anthem Veronica Sawyer Smokes.

Fucked Up - Chemistry of Common Life

Been getting back into this gem from last year, they should release a new album, like now.

Biffy Clyro - Bubbles

Reassuring to say the least. Featuring a mesmerising solo from Josh Homme, Bubbles is probably the best Biffy track for quite some time, and bodes well for Only Revolutions. Very melodic and very cleanly produced... but hey, that's post-2006 Biffy I guess.

A teaser of Devin Townsend's new album, Addicted.

It sounds absolutely amazing and so many of the songs feature Anneke van Giersbergen, which is just awesome squared.

I really want it. Now, in fact.

Assassination of Jesse James soundtrack
Blade Runner soundtrack
Clockwork Orange soundtrack
There Will Be Blood soundtrack
Chinatown soundtrack

Much better than albums. Soundtracks is my favourite genre if it can be called that.

You got the Trainspotting sound track?

I'm still listening to Common Dreads daily. Also got some of Blurs b-sides

I got bored of Common Dreads, which probably takes it down to a 3/5. Solid album though, better than their debut.

Manc Orchestra are mint, seen them live once and seeing them again supporting Biffy soon Smile I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child is a better album than their latest though.

Getting into Common Dreads again now haha, I take back what I said!

Having got the new update on my Xbox, I've been using last.fm to find lots of new music.
Too much to list here (not that anyone would care) but the app is awesome. Works very smoothly.

I got an email saying I'm in the new update, yet my console hasn't actually received it yet. Hrm

Can the 360 scrobble now? Even if you're not using Last Fm?

I can never get through an entire Sigur Ros album. They're good, but I can only appreciate them in small doses.

This week I have mostly been listening to Bespa Kumamero, whilst fighting off people trying to recommend me their favourite "J-Rock" artists because of it. Urgh. They're an electronic band. Them being Japanese does not mysteriously recategorise them and make me suddenly want to listen to terrible music solely because it's Japanese but do some of the morons I happen to know understand this? They don't. [/misplaced rant]
