Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey

This game is amazing! DS dungeon crawlers seem to be all i play these days, so easy to pick up for 10-15 minutes at a time, or lose half a day when you get into it heh.

Dead Rising 2 - Case Zero

Brilliant little game for 400 points. It seems to have addressed most of the poor aspects of the first game (namely the unreadable walkie talkie text... that and the awful photography aspect) and some nice new features thrown in like combo weapons (electric rake anyone?). Although some little niggles is the zombie AI and melee weapons breaking the flow of combat. Thank God for unlimited pistols in Bob's Hunting Store...

Enjoyed it so much I replayed it several times to get the full 200 points (making it the 6th game i've bothered to mop up the entire gamer score for). Although I can see the Katy / Zombrex aspect being very annoying in the full game, I'm now interested picking it up at launch. Ahh, I love you Capcom.

I really enjoyed the first game Wink Just (at the time) didn't like the face that I had to play the game 8 times over to get a decent ending... I now see the error of my ways...

They casualised it, mang. The masses can appreciate it now that it saves your game umpteen times.
God forbid they must be careful with what choices they make in a game.

Joe Danger
Highly addictive, insanely fun and smooth to play, very well presented. Seems to be yet another PSN classic.

Shank
Fun sidescrolling beat em up. Sort of feels 70% Streets of Rage 30% Metal Slug, pretty fun overall.

Oh and I'm also playing Sam and Max - The Devils Playhouse which is a pretty good current day attempt at the adventure game genre because Playstation Plus subscribers get all 5 episodes for free as this months deal

£11.99 for 90 days, or £39.99 for the whole year.

I went with the 90 days and I gotta say, I think I'm gonna get a year when it runs out. So far I've been enjoying the discounts and downright free games such as this month MGS is £4 instead of £9 and Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey/Sam and Max for free.

Yeah I think the 90 days is a bit cheaper than buying it from the psn store. Just remember that you'll only be able to access the content while your Plus subscription is valid.

Sonic Adventure is up on XBLA, and oh deary me. It's just a quick port of the original. It looks and plays so dated. How lazy.

It might have been 2 I played, actually.

I just remember capturing bunnies and shit and feeding them to the Chao things (Or whatever they were called) and then forcing them to race. Used to think that was the best thing ever lol.

I read that it's the port of the PC port of the GameCube port, DX: Director's Cut version (lol ports of ports). So it isn't the Dreamcast version. I think SA2 was an improvement, but that sounds like the first game, Dingo. I never owned the games, so I don't have too much knowledge on them, that's why I was looking forward to owning it on the 360.

If this is how SEGA are treating their future Dreamcast releases on XBLA, then they can fuck off.

The menus are horrible, it doesn't even have it in widescreen, it's horrible, horrible presentation. Obviously the game has aged badly, but they still could have improved it somehow.

Horrible.

The annoying thing is I can quite happily play NES / Snes games... its just bad 3d on the ps1/ps2 that annoys me. Oh, and awful analog controls (I'm looking at you, Forbidden Siren...)

Okay, Move works pretty acurately. Now it just needs some games. Hustle kings, HV Bowling and Flight Control will do for now I guess.

*waits*

Just got platinum on Little Big Planet and all the DLC trophys too. After I ace and collect all prizes in the Marvel level kit I don't know what to do with myself until LBP2 Sad
