Dead Space 2

Anyone played this one yet? Who am I kidding, of course you have. What's it like? Being a soldier isn't exactly making me rich for the time being and I'll only be picking this one up if it's really worth it. I really liked the first game and I'm hoping this is a worthy sequel - the reviewers would have me believe it to be just that but who the fuck trusts them anyway?

So, any impressions?

This is one of my favourite games this year.

Sure it lost some of the horror, but the action was awesome.

It was like Cameron's Aliens to Ridley's Alien.
First has masterful, horror, tension etc and is basically a haunted house in space.
Second takes place in an overrun colony and is more action orientated losing atmosphere but increasing pace and excitement.

Second's good but I definitely prefer the first in both instances.

The first is still great, but I prefer playing this one. One of those games were I can load up a chapter over and over again and enjoy as much as the first time. I'm a sucker for well done set-pieces. I got all the achievements on this just to show you how much I liked it (same as the first game too).

Very much looking forward to DS3.

Maybe I'll just get it for my iPhone 4s lawl
