I know!! Very fucking stressful indeed. Got it done luckily. I have pretty much all the side-quests done now I think, apart from the ones where you have to collect stuff.
Anybody get Bring Down The Sky or Pinnacle Station?

iv got bring down the sky, its nothing special and can be completed in 20 minutes if you rush it.
the heavy armour you get is worth the quest though. and finding T'Soni is easy, ever heard of saving?

Re: Now Playing...
Do you get achievements for playing through Pinnacle Station? Will get it if so, I pride myself on having 100% of the achievements in that game.

Re: Now Playing...
I just got The Lost and Damned, decided my points were best used on that. Got 1200 points left, but I might save them for Gay Tony.

Yes, 150 points, which should be very easy with a level 60 soldier.Kaptain Kaviar wrote:Do you get achievements for playing through Pinnacle Station? Will get it if so, I pride myself on having 100% of the achievements in that game.
And gdf, the Ballad of Gay Tony will most likely be 1600 points, like The Lost and Damned was at time of release.

Re: Now Playing...
Yeah, it's pretty rad so far, even if the biker premise isn't as appealing as Niko's set-up.

Re: Now Playing...
Its well worth the points though, even if its just to get you back playing GTAIV again.
Note the Wayne's world car BTW, you can see a picture of Wayne and Garth on the Dashboard

Anyone played Scene it: Box office Smash? I'm as you know at film school, and there's loads of people here who like to challenge my knowledge database when it comes to films. Are the questions good?

That is impressive actually. Some of those achievements look tough, and I'm really not arsed playing through it on insane. Its difficult enough

Not playing yet but buying today - Far Cry 2 (PS3 version obviously). Can't wait to get my hands on that map maker!
Re: Now Playing...
I finished The Lost and Damned last night. Twelve hours in two days, man it was sweet. I had more issues with Johnny's characterisation than Niko's even, it was incredibly contradictory and hard to work out, which in turn made it tough to sympathise with him. The story arc itself was weirdly stunted and unsatisfying, but that's not helped by the fact it's only 1/3 as long as the game on the disc.
It was still incredibly well written and an interesting exploration of being part of a dying institution (kind of like X360 in a way) and the slope into middle age. Otherwise it was more of the excellent same, and you get to see a different side of Liberty City. Some areas evoke very strong reminders of Niko's missions, and that was also awesome if incidental. In some areas it was streamlined, with all of the friends stuff basically optional and easier access to decent hardware for the tougher missions. There was no Four Leaf Clover, thankfully.
It's really a full game, twice as long as your average shooter these days anyway. If you loved GTA IV like I did you'll similarly love this.

Re: Now Playing...
People were all in agreement that GTA IV was awesome upon release but after you finish the story and the side missions (around 40-60 hours after starting) it does get a bit boring and this is what sticks in the mind and you think "Well it wasn't that good". Remember how addictive it was and how long it lasted, don't blast it because you're bored with it now peoples.
