It's just tacked on to the trailer to make it seem like the game will have a deep, purposeful plot with religious reference and metaphors. The actual game will have no story. I'm not really sure what the fuck I've done in any war game besides endure endless combat scenarios broken up by a loading screen showing which part of the world I'm in now and some forgettable military dialogue giving me my objective for the current mission. Seriously, fuck what passes for a war game these days.

I think we all know that regardless of hype, crappy weird multiplayer modes, religious symbolism, no dedicated servers, a ridiulously priced special edition, fuck, a ridiculously priced normal edition, This game is going to be brilliant.
