Career aspirations
What line of career do you want to go into? I personally am heading down that ever so popular media route. Perhaps it'll be journalism, or maybe even screenwriting. I'd love to direct a film or two too, but I'd have to build a budget from elsewhere initially in order to do that. I'd also love to go into the music industry as an independant artist. With the labels dying and digital distribution on the rise, with some fantastic websites like TuneCore and BandCamp, I really believe we're in a time where artists are finally able to do whatever they want without some corporate scum breathing down their necks and nicking all their profits.

Re: Career aspirations
Well, as you all probably know by now, I've been making a beeline for the film director occupation these last few years, studying theory, watching films and most importantly: making loads of shorts.
Of course, one doesn't get to be a director overnight. My next years will be spent attending film schools to meet like minded people who I might be able to collaborate with in the future, as well as further explore the cinematic language.
At times other career paths tempt me too though. Film editing is a passion of mine, as well as the photography aspect. I know I wouldn't mind doing either under a talented director. Sometimes I even fancy myself becoming a teacher of film history.
And my final aspiration is psychiatrist, I love learning about the human mind, but I doubt that I'm suited to the job. Psychological films will have to do.

I know I'll have to do another University course to become a Barrister but that'll just be part of the plan

Does working as a researcher for an investment bank make me an investment banker yet? I'm not sure.
