Re: Scott Pilgrim VS The World.
I never really read anything other than what i mentioned, Some Sin City, and Dark Knight Returns was all i knew before i started Pilgrim, though im definitely gonna look at Oni Press some more, it's "the goldmine" Hollywood is about to start raping if Pilgrim does well by all accounts...

No... its just a funny graphic novel that doesn't take itself seriously... unlike twilight xD

This is awesome!
It did feel a little rushed and could have been a bit longer to get some more content in but apart form that I don't have any problems with it, really. Would like to see it again, though

Thought the film was Ok and the game is purely made... Spoilers BELOW
I enjoyed how the film kept things simple while staying true to the source material (for the most part). I liked how alot of the shots mimicked panels of the comic book and the humor was as well versed as the comics. Casting was pretty decent too, nobody in mainstream hollywood can pull of awkward teen like Micheal Cera in a strong performance (I usually find him hit and miss). My only qualm being the end 20 or so minutes really annoying me with the Knives fight and the shitty chip in Ramona's head plot device... other than that, I thought it was a pretty good adaptation that must be taken as separate from the original graphic novels.
8 / 10
I'm not even going to rate the game properly. Difficulty on the lowest setting pisses me off as the game can't really be enjoyed as a single player experience as the enemies easily outnumber a gamer at every turn. The combat is very slow and one missed punch leaves a player open for 2 or 3 seconds in which they will get brained by the enemies... I could even spam A for multiple punches on the NES version of double dragons II, I get the game is going for retro but seriously, fuck up Ubisoft let me play the game. While the soundtrack is great and there are some very nice nods to the graphic novel (the skateboard gift at the end of the second level made me smile), as a single player experience the game left me frustrated and thinking of what could have been...

ipso the game gets a lot better once you upgrade your character a bit, when you're plodding through with starting stats is does just feel like a bad game

I'm level 7 now Sean... I can bust heads like a mother fucker if I try, but the game feels more like a button masher now... I feel like a girl trying to play street fighter... randomly bashing x, y and the d-pad in the hopes i'll commit some serious butt-fuckery to my enemies...
Castle Crashers didn't make me wait 8 years to be able to enjoy the game imho...

Re: Scott Pilgrim VS The World.
I'd give the game a 5 or 6 tbh. I like it but it can be really annoying. It crashes ALL the time forcing me to go through levels a whole bunch of times. The difficulty is really inbalanced too. I found it really hard on the lowest difficulty until I bought a Bionic Arm (Puts strength up 50) which makes it far too easy. I can beat bosses in like 5 hits now...
