Bayonetta
Quite a few of us have it and are getting it, so we need a thread.
Me from Now Playing... wrote:It's funny that people keep bad mouthing DMC4, because in some parts of Bayonetta, I felt like I had went back 2 years and was playing DMC4 again. A lot of the boss fights feel the same, and the look of the surroundings are very similar. The combat system is a lot better, though, just the way you had to defeat some of the bosses felt far too similar.
EDGE's sticker on the front "10/10 - Legendary" is a little antagonizing.
Anyway, finished it a few hours ago, didn't realise it was that long, could have been a little shorter. Not sure how to score it, I think it could probably sway an 8.
Started my Hard playthrough - already died at the beginning. Ha! But up to Chapter II now. Got myself some new outfits... it was either spend most of my coins on new items that could help a lot in battle, or buy the skimpiest outfit. I think I went with the right choice.

The best thing to do is to stay as the blank panther. Honestly, I just ran around shit crazy as that thing and jumped everywhere.

Re: Bayonetta
I found most of the boss fights way too easy, with the exception of Jeanne.
They were spectacular but I wish they amounted to a little more than railing on them continously until a QTE opportunity showed up GoW-style.
Still, its good to play a game which harks back to the epic boss encounters of the original DMC. 2,3 and 4 just didn't deliver in that respect

The boss battles were generally pretty easy, apart from Jeanne and the last statue thing. Finished it today.
8/10 because the plot was all over the place, and the epilogue was pretty irritating...
Great great game overall though.
