Re: A Leaving (But not in a gay way) Thread
Yeah, paracetamol is a must. Necked a couple this morning and managed to stave off the headache when I got back in by lying down.
Been good so far Dangly? I know I'm missing out on the full experience by living at home, but I couldn't justify the outlay.

Yeah man, it is kinda good, like im really pretty introverted, like im not into going out and stuff, so living here is kinda good for me if you know what i mean? Meeting alot of people (on the street!) who i would never have met had i been at home. But tbh mate, i feel a bit awkward when i dont wanna go out. Like tonight, everyone is off out to this school disco thing, but i think im dying! And i feel kinda bad for not having the "freshersexperience"! Hmm. Fuck it.
Hows your week going man?

Ups and downs like, but mostly pretty fucking well!
School disco things are painful as fuck though, I hate that shit. Go to the neon/foam/board shorts/skulk in a traditional pub parties instead

Re: A Leaving (But not in a gay way) Thread
my week is going great
i have no money due to the postage strike and my renew form being lost for my EMA. leaving me with nothing. im afraid im going to lose my part time job that pays almost nothing as i only get paid monthly and im struggling to get bus money to get there. turns out i wont be having any celebration for my 18th because of lack of parents money, and after a month of preperation i finally asked a girl iv liked for ages out only to discover that 3 days beforehand she started going out with an old mate of mine.
so hows everyone else doing?

i should be alright. im going to ask my boss for my pay early tommorow, my birthday is in exactly two weeks, my EMA should give me an extra £200 for backpay, along with my wages and whatever i get from my birthday, plus ill have the entire week of from the 5th of october, so things should be looking up in a week or two, it can only get better.

Re: A Leaving (But not in a gay way) Thread
Come to Aberdeen.
Went to the Debating Society last night. Full o' Tory cunts, like, but they're a great bunch of cunts at that. Debate finished, we went to a pub and spent the next two hours getting to know the group. Not going to lie, some pretty hot birds in there as well, one even bought a drink for me but unfortunately it was just because it was my first time there. Luckily I didn't spend much money because I'd already gotten drunk off all the free wine they provided at the meeting before we walked into town. Join societies, they're so great. The Socialist Worker Student Society meeting was rambling and angry but so fucking righteous, and the Debating Society was just a great time.
This week has gradually gone from shit, to depressing, to alright, to fun, to amazing!

I'm enjoying hearing all this good news with regards to Uni, fills me with confidence for next year.
I'm Edinburgh-bound probably, did I say?

Yeah uni, its like weird, i feel proper nervous before i go out with everyone, but it always turns out proper good. And my course is AWESOME. Saw Broken Embraces today, for FREEEEEE.
And guys, i HIGHLY reccomend Sheffield (HALLAM! NOT THE UNIVERSITY OF..., our accomodation and tech is miiiles better apparently) The city is beautiful, great music scene, and theres a fucking wonderful independant cinema. Seriously, i love this place. Not too massive like Manchester or London, and not too small.
Edinburgh is very similar to here, though bigggger.
