I noticed that too. I was from about 15 to 20-odd in no time.

The jet-ski sections onwards are where the difficulty seems to spike rapidly. Still determined not to lower the difficulty setting though.

I just caved in at about chapter 16. Its still bloody difficult later on on easy.

A lot of the time it seems more like poor cover layout than lack of skill.

Wait till you get to the end. Bastard laser sights and only destructible cover to hide behind.
I got fed up with the head height cover later on. All it serves to do is get in the way of your aiming.

I think by playing this I'm gonna appreciate UC2 a whole lot more.

If they've fixed all the obvious stuff, like too frequent shootouts, too many samey locations and the shitty combat stuff then I think we're in for a treat.

If they've managed to make it interesting this time, though, I can't see that being a bad thing. If they haven't, well, it could all go a bit pear-shaped.

But Uncharted averaged near enough 9, I don't think it was worth that. Not far off, but definitely not a 9.

Not that games have evolved that much since then.

I disagree, the PS3 has come leaps and bounds since then. It feels like a much better console from when I first got it. And that was only a year ago.

Shit I wish I'd finished Batman so I could trade that in, I can't afford this, Brutal Legend (which is already getting bought with credit) and Machinarium.

This game rules. Shooting is much better than in the first game, stealth is well done too and a welcome addition. Some of treasures are well hidden off the main path as well which allows for more exploration. And the graphics

I started on Hard so I don't have to play through a bunch of times to unlock crushing, it's pretty tough!
