Best Game this gen?

Yeah, the story is totally generic and forgettable. It managed to provide decent atmospheres during certain parts of the game though.

Heavy Rain? Red Dead Redemption? The Agents?

I think these three could well e in the running, without us actually seeinga great deal of them.

Heavy Rain could be really shit.

I never played Indigo Prophecy, but it sounds really shit. I have no expectations for Heavy Rain.

Final Fantasy XIII will no doubt be a contender. Mirrors Edge 2, if there is one coming, also has the potential to be totally fucking awesome assuming they just clean up the rough edges and don't dramatically change it all. And 3D Dot Game Heroes.

The Last Guardian will be the best game of this gen... well it could be.

Considering Shadow of the Colossus was probably the best of last gen, this isn't much a bad bet...

Heavy Rain SHOULD be awesome. Farenheit was one of my games of last gen, i have high hopes.

Oh! I think The Saboteur is gonna be this Gen's Freedom Fighters, which is my favourite game ever.

The Saboteur looks pretty awesome, but I've read disappointing previews.

Mirror's Edge 2 could be very cool if they sort out the flaws of the first. Besides some of the sections that game was incredible.

Red Dead Redemption has me very excited altogether. It should be phenomenal, but then again, so should GTA IV.

I have a feeling that Fallout: New Vegas won't be as good as Fallout 3.

COD: Modern Warfare 2 is gonna be a big one, guys. I think it's being overlooked here. Won't be the most innovative of all time, but I'll be surprised if its not a 10/10 game.

I wouldn't actually. The Call of Duty games have never been in the highest band of ratings. I don't think this will change the trend (unless the pressure from millions of worldwide COD fanboys gets to reviewers).

Call of Duty 4 is one of the highest rated games this gen.

Arkham is definitly near the top of my list

Modern Warfare 2 won't be a ten. Eight is my guess. The first was a nine, close to ten, but this is a "more of the same" sequel. MW had so few flaws in the first place, and I fear that one of the most striking moments will be trivialised because you can call in the gunship with an - admittedly pretty long - kill streak.

Yeah 15 kills or something. That's never too easy though. Its not like you're gonna get a gunship every game or something. I have high hopes for it being an improvement on MW, and thus, making it a 10/10, perfect game.

I'm kind of getting sick of sites like IGN running a preview for MW2 pretty much every day.

haha na... I guess for me it'd be borderlands if not for the repetitive grinding... I've heard VERY good things about Magna Carta II and Tales of Vesperia, haven't had chance to play them however... wasting my Christmas holidays much?
