So Modern Warfare 2 broke sales records in the UK. 1.2 million across PS3 & 360...in one day.

The previous record? GTAIV - 600k.

Pretty sure everyone at Activision sold their soul to the devil or something.

Holy shit.
I feel so out of touch with the current trend in gaming to think that I have no interest in MW2. I just don't see the appeal

If its anywhere near as scripted as you guys say it is, I'd probably hate it anyway. I missed when CoD2 actually gave you choices with how to play the game.

I like games that involve some brains behind the brawn, ones with a degree of emergent gameplay.
I never picked up the full game, but I had a lot of fun with the RF:Guerilla demo dropping buildings and bridges on top of soldiers at whim

The multiplayer is brilliant. I've decided, better than COD4's.

And like, the game feels like a James Bond game...

Multiplayer is definitely better than COD4's. Finished the campaign tonight. It took just over 5 hours. I actually really enjoyed it, but there is no excusing that despicably short play time. I got kinda lost with the story line towards the end too, but up til then it was enjoyable. The set pieces are awesome too.

Campaign: 6/10. With a bit more effort and length this could have been so so much better.

Spec Ops/Multiplayer: 10/10. Exactly what I was looking for. Really couldn't have asked for more.

Finished this on Veteran at the weekend and really got into it. A bit to easy if anything. Multilplayer is losing it's buzz with me. I preferred the more flat, smaller maps that cod4 had, especially when I'm not playing with mates.
