I've already finished this, but have others got this? It's the first 3D Zelda I've ever finished (I know), and I really enjoyed it.

I got the collector's edition that came with the golden Zelda Wii Motion Plus remote - loving that.

Anyway, the game takes a while to get going, but once it does, it had me hooked; I spent a whole day on it at one point. It took me just under 40 hours to reach the end and I still have some things to collected here and there.

It has it's frustrating moments - a big one is a part near the end that involves swimming and collecting musical notes, and the swimming controls are pretty awful. ARGHHH!! Taking about the controls, they were pretty good for the most part - Link holding the sword the same way as you're holding the remote is really cool, and made some of the bossfights quite special. Although, it wasn't always perfectly matched up to how you were holding the control, and I found myself calibrating a lot of the time.

Overall, the fun outweighs the frustrating, boring parts.

The graphics are really nice, it's just a shame that Nintendo decided to not bother with HD this gen, so they can't reach their full potential at 480p on a fucking HDTV. Hopefully the Wii U will display the original Wii games better since it will be using HDMI. Because I wouldn't mind playing through this again.

You're not far off. They definitely keep the OoT template close to their chest, but I found that Skyward Sword is the most original 3D Zelda in a while.

Link to the Past is still the best Zelda and always will be, though.

Guess I can't point fingers when I'm really into the Assassin Creed series.

Good to hear you enjoyed it, I've had it sent home so it won't interfere with my studies. It's hard enough with Skyrim around! Recently I finished OoT on 3DS, so I'm really looking forward to engaging in a fully fledged console Zelda again.

Haven't got very high expectations though, having a hard time hyping any kind of game these days.
