Fallout: New Vegas Empty Fallout: New Vegas

Post by JokerJamie Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:48 pm

Just got this tonight. Only had an hour to play it after work, so really haven't done very much besides create my character and a quick tutorial. It seems very similar to Fallout 3, which, besides maybe the visuals, isn't a bad thing at all. In fact I'd be very happy if this game got me hooked how 3 did.

Anyone else gonna pick 'er up?

Fallout: New Vegas Empty Re: Fallout: New Vegas

I was just about to post about one of the bugs. Its great so far, but midway through one of the missions my Pip Boy started acting weird and getting these black kinda waves running across the screen, making it difficult to see anything on it. I thought it was just down to the fact that I was fighting a certain kind of enemy at the time, but after completing the mission, a good 45 minutes on, I've noticed doors and other textures being dotted with little black specks, and my pip boy is still the same. Pretty annoying, I'm kinda hoping it'll somehow fix itself.

It is basically Fallout 3.5. I really couldn't care though, it is still brilliant.

Great news. About 4 and a half hours in, go to play a bit after work, 360 got the red rings. FML. Why at this time of year??? Hopefully I can get it sorted in work or summit....

Got this for Xmas and I'm really enjoying it. There's been a few annoying glitches and I'm not doing too well (Need some better guns and a decent amount of ammo) but it's fun. Liking all the faction stuff too.

Once you tell her you'll shoot them up, there's no option to do it the other way.

Finished it yesterday and loved every moment of it (Well, maybe not the glitches). So, so good and I just want to keep on playing. Bought the DLC too so looking forward to the extra 5 levels.
