Gran Turismo 5

Who's playing? I'm staring at my copy waiting for the clock to strike 6 personally, will comment more when I've got home and actually played it.

Meh. Reviews haven't been amazing. It's the Alan Wake of racers. Won't live up to expectations, and I don't see how it will be much better than Forza.

Apparently it's a near perfect driving sim but isn't that much fun as a game. Looks beautiful though.

Isn't as beautiful as you'd think, check out some user screencaps it looks like GT4 running on an emulator, only played 30 mins last night haven't got an opinion yet

Thats because some of the cars are GT4 models in higher resolution.

Not sure why they put them in, guess Sony really wanted that '1000 CARS!!1" marketing bullet point. The difference between GT5 cars and the old models just looks retarded though

Oh I knew about that, I think even the premium cars can look a bit naff sometimes (more pedestrian vehicles like hatchbacks and whatnot). Still, you can make it look purdy in photo-mode.

I think it depends on the lighting. Sometimes they still look gamey, but then sometimes they look pretty much like real life lol

pics 7 and 8 are standard cars (tarted up GT4 skin) if you mean those
