Anyone else played the demo? I wasn't too sure about it at first, but gave it sometime to sink it's teeth into me and I kinda really like it now, you know. It looks so lush. It's like Gears of War on steroids. It's Shinji Mikami first game under the Platinum Games brand and is out on October 22nd. PS3 is the lead platform.

Yes I have played it and I really didn't care at all. After a while I found it really quite boring.

So what aspect of the demo did you find boring?

I don't think the demo is that brilliant, but I can appreciate what their doing with the game. It has some really fun/awesome game mechanics. I especially love how easy/slick it is to maneuver about; I even find being able to take cover behind the very low walls cool. Oh, and having a quick puff while in cover? Awesome!

I'm not a big fan of the Japanese developers love for over-cluttered huds, cheesy characters, somewhat weightless feel to the shooting/combat, bad script - and so on - when making shooters, but there's something about this game, and I just hope they do something really cool with it in the finished product.

tbh I think I almost came playing this game. The creator is a genius and it combines elements of ZOE, Lost Planet and GOW. CANNOT WAIT FOR IT!

Really enjoyed this tbh. Love the stlye and the extreme OTT. Mechanics were fantastic and everything is really fast paced - definitely considering getting it on release.

Does it have multiplayer?

Played the demo today. Some parts are nice and visually its lovely, but its kinda like a jazzed up Transformers:WFC, which got really repetitive and dull after a few chapters.

Im going to pick it up next pay... Kinda semi-addicted to the Prof. Layton games atm 8-)

Finished this earlier, it's quite fun, but there's not much more to it than what it gives you in the demo. I also finished it in just over 5 hours, so it is a bit short and only offers some challenge levels after you finish it.

It is a very polished game, it's just a shame that they didn't offer something more with it.

The credits were pretty cool.

7/10 (kinda would be an 8, but I doubt many will play it much after finishing it.)
