So I watched this anyway. Was a good flick. Far too long for its own good though.

My mother asked to borrow it and watched it with my father. I get the feeling that they were more impressed than I was.
I'm surprised that they liked it tbh. It's a very seedy film for the first hour or so.

Is it weird to find the books incredibly, incredibly slow? Like, I feel pretty close to slipping into a coma at the start...Please tell me they pick up?

The movie was like that for the first 90 minutes. It got crazy good then in the last hour

Second movie sucks dick. Plus it was so fucking annoying trying to embed the subtitles when there are no DVDrs floating around.

Had none of the excitement the first had in the last act. The whole thing felt like a made for TV movie. I think I read somewhere that it was, actually.

I wouldn't recommend anyone who has no interest in reading the books to bother with the second film. 'Dragon Tattoo' works better as a stand-alone story.

Film 2 and 3 were made for swedish TV by a different director, and yeah, they suck.
