Similarly, a guy has killed a policeman and threatened to do more. He's currently on the run, and police have cordened off a small town abut 15 minutes from me, he robbed a chip shop in my town last night! All a bit scary tbh.

This is all getting silly now. How is a geordie ex bouncer defying the entire northumbria police force along with 20 specifically trained met police officers? There are dogs, helicopters, fucking armoured police cars driving along country roads. The media have turned this into a fucking spectacle.

Some people are messed up, and guaranteed some people who have been hurt or feel wronged in some way, do shit like this every day, (I mean least we forget, yes what he's done is horrible, he's killed one man and seriously injured two others). If not for the Northumbria police bringing the media into this, it wouldn't be the circus it is. It would have been a one off piece on the news that was a sad advent but this would have been dealt with by now.

My bets - he's miles away from there by now, it's why he did over that chippy.

That chippy was in my hometown, like 5 minutes from me. Rothbury is about 10 miles away, and Gateshead, where it started is about 20 miles in the opposite direction. If he robbed the chippy, then, according to the police he travelled the 20 miles to Blyth, robbed the chippy, went back the 20 miles, then travelled to Rothbury the next morning. It doesnt sound properly right IMO.

The media is a valuable tool for the police, putting the pictures and stuff out for him, but they are making it all a bit too HBO.
