I'm pretty tempted to get this. Street Fighter IV was fucking awesome and I kind of miss it.

Yeah, I got a manual, got all the moves in the back pages. You didn't get one?

Anyway, go into Trial mode, Sean, good way to learn the moves.

I managed to win 6 matches in a row yesterday somehow...I have definitely improved too. A bit of practice with one character does wonders. I use Ryu mainly, he's pretty good all round and his ultras are pretty easy to pull off. Still out of the 100 matches I've played, I've only won about 30 or so. Some people are ridiculous, other are just whores abusing the same moves, but the multiplayer in this game is pure awesome. I've put at least 10 hours in since Friday, and its all I want to play right now.

For anyone who still buys X360 magazine, they actually have a decent SSFIV guide in the latest issue. But like Suede said, training mode is where its at if you wanna get good.

It's definitely a 9/10, and considering its a beat-em-up, which I usually can't get into, thats a pretty big deal.

Haven't played IV in over a year but after a couple of rounds with Sakura (<3) it fits like a glove. Still at the stage of perfecting my combos rather than instinctively reacting or making tactical choices, but that'll come.

Best fighting game ever, maybe.

Oh my dear god. FUCK SETH.

I played through arcade mode on hardest without any problems until I reached him. Its retarded how difficult he is and it has really pissed me off. Had to switch the thing off before I put my controller through the tv.

Me and Suede had afew matches last night and I dont think I beat him once xD So I did what anyone would do... play religiously against people all day instead of doing uni work... I'LL GET YOU SUEDE!

Anyways, it plays really nice online, I'm quite surprised! Thought it'd be alot clunkier...

Anytime you want to play, just ask; it's fun. Big smile

Yeah, Seth is pretty fucking annoying, Jamie. To be honest, it took me quite a few tries to beat him on Hardest, and when I did, it was extremely close. It's best just to hold off until there's an opening and try to avoid jumping as much as possible so he can't uppercut you. I did it as Ryu, by the way.

Beat him today finally! I also came to the realization that Ryu is not my best character. Nor Ken, nor Akuma. I have fought twice with Dudley over live now, and both times I wiped the floor, scoring a perfect in one of the rounds. He is awesome fun to use. I was getting sick of resorting to hadoukens after my health was continually reduced to a certain level. MACHINE GUN BLOW!

I've only ever come across one Dudley player after something like 50-70 games. It makes me feel great when I beat Akuma, Ken, Ryu, etc. players as him.

He is actually so awesome. After losing so many games I decided to go on the hunt for a character that I'm actually good with, and for now I'm stuck on him. Yeah you rarely come across him on live...I still don't know who the most popular character is. I've fought quite a lot of Juri players. Ryu obviously. Guy and the quick guys like that too. Cody seems to be very popular, and every time I fight a Cody player (or T. Hawk) I get my ass handed to me.

When I bring a week of pain your way (colony's handed in on tuesday) you'll wish you played Akuma...

Sean you're crazy. Give it a chance and learn some of the combos and moves. It's a hard game, but you adjust fairly quick with a bit of play time.

The learning curve is colossal. But it is so rewarding when you start pulling off mad combos ending in an ultra and stuff. Training mode is the only way, and some of the trials (although lots of them are near impossible). I was pulling out a load of wins today with Dudley again, and it really was rewarding!

Managed to finish Hakan's trials today. They seem to be the easiest out of the bunch, but still incredibly tough and frustrating.
