I'm looking at Bournemouth for a multimedia journalism course.
If Bournemouth's shit, will someone please tell me now?

I accepted Strathclyde as my firm choice and need to get a B in maths and a C in another subject. The C should be fine but the Maths will require a lot of hard work - hopefully I can do it though.

My insurance choice was Paisley and I need a C in maths to get which I should be able to do. Don't really want to go there anymore though.

Firm is Keele - AAB is the main offer, gone down to BBC with a certificate I'm doing.

Insurance is Sheffield Hallam - 230 points to get in (no wishing for me to fail Daniel)

Hay guise, I'm going to Stockholm, hooray! After the applications were filed and interviews completed, it took a good month or so to hear anything. We had a problem with too many people applying to go there, but luckily one dropped out completely so there's going to be no horrible academic comparison process to choose. Provided I do reasonably in the next set of exams about a month from now (and, actually, the two essays I have due tomorrow and next week respectively) it's 100%. Even if I fuck something up, which is highly unlikely, I'll probably have good enough grades in the other two to either allow me to squeak through or do a resit.

tl;dr, as long as my exams go smoothly I'll be in Stockholm by the end of August. Shit's exciting.

Hope you guys are getting to go where you want too.

I sent you that cum sandwich. Didn't include a note, ink would have spoiled the taste.

I'm not even sure if I want to do my course now. I really like the idea of being a teacher but that would probably mean I need to do a specific teaching course which would mean waiting a year until I could start it Sad

Im getting a degree in Film Studies, (3 years) then doing the teaching thing (1 year i believe).

What course you planning on doing? I hugely reccomend just going to uni, when else you gonna get 3 years to go live somewhere new and meet all new friends, learn something vaguely interesting (even if its just which type of larger is cheapest/strongest). If you dont enjoy the course after a year, switch to a teaching one.

Well if I get the grades I need I'll be doing Computer Science and if a teaching course is only the one year I think that's definitely what I'll be doing. A teaching course would probably be too specific anyway tbh.

Thanks a lot mate Smile You really have helped me with this one Smile

I can't understand people who leave school and instantly go into teaching. Seems weird.

I might be in Norway quicker than you think Iain if this fucking ash cloud persists. Ferry and train >>> plane.

I`m on my way to the States now Fraser, my last trip was sabotaged by that fucking ash cloud and now I`ve made it as far as Paris. My flight to Hollywood leaves in a couple of hours.

Have accepted to go to Newcastle and study Civil Engineering. Provided I get 3 B's. Not really what I really wanted to do but there's good money in it. On a brighter note, at least when I move my lag won't be as bad...

There is good money in that, AND, you get to live in Newcastle, which is a fucking brilliant place to be a student.
