Just discovered that, unlike the X360 Forum, The Interhood is available to access in my school. Means I'll be able to waste time more efficiently in Product Design.

WebSense was my worst enemy from secondary school to college graduation.

Did you not find it relatively fun finding ways to bypass it?

My school once blocked the internet for a period of around five days. Rest assured, ICT weren't too happy, nor was anyone, so whatever dumbass intention they had failed thankfully.

I was so cool that whenever I used a PC at school I was doing work.

But this was a long, long time ago, when the closest thing to a filter was the psychic head of IT who'd periodically burst through the door, point at someone and yell "Get that porn off the PC now!"

For some reason our filter blocks Google once and for all if you happen to click 'Google My Way', accidental or not. You just can't get on there after that.

I hate websense so I was happy when they got rid of it Smile but then they use a custom one (probably powered by websense) that blocks even more stuff. I did find it funny that I was using my free period to try and get round it by searching for proxy sites and what not, then the next day we got a letter saying that we couldn't use proxy sites lol.

Haha, just goes to show how crap these programs are that they deny you access to the only section of the forum with any moderation and decorum.

i dont get much time on the internet at work anyway, i think since iv started working there iv been on it twice for about 10 minutes a time, but still how it would rather block the teahouse rather than pick up on the links in NSFW is beyond me.
