Championship Manager 2010: Pay What You Want...
Seems Radiohead have had a huge influence on Eidos then.
To cut a long story short, the inferior Championship Manager series is offering a 'pay-what-you-want' scheme for the latest title. That's right, you can grab it for just a penny.
I haven't been a fan since Sports Interactive stopped doing CM and went onto the Footy Manager games, but I may just throw them a few quid to show my appreciation for them embracing a competent business model.

However, the fundamental flaw is that the majority will just pay a penny, therefore it'll fail like In Rainbows initially did with this model. So I say, regardless of whether you like the game, now is the time to support this sort of business advancement.

There's a £2 base charge or summat.
I don't think I'll bother getting it at all, too many games lying on my desktop. Good way of combating piracy, though.

It's a pile of shit though, says I according to the demo.

I thought Radiohead made more money (as in money that reaches their pocket, not album profit) from In Rainbows than all their previous albums combined.
