Charlie Brooker's Gameswipe

Watching it right now on iPlayer, and though beforehand I thought Brooker was a bit of a cunt and TV shows about videogames are universally woeful, I'm quite enjoying it. It's essentially a Dummy's Guide To..., but has enough knowledgable opinion and humorous quips to hold me. Dara O'Brian's on it, too, and would you believe he actually knows what he's talking about. Even though he does seem a bit shit at games.

Yeah I watched it last night and it's not too bad. I still think Brooker is a cunt but some of the stuff he says later in the show is actually quite funny.

Im enjoying this at this very moment too.

I think Brooker seems like he would be a really nice bloke to meet IRL.

I really like Brooker, but I wasn't sure about the show. If it leads to a series (he said on Twitter it pulled in far more viewers than News or Screenwipe) I can see it improving, but it seemed a bit aimless. I'm glad he didn't just go on about how great games are for an hour, though, critical as ever.

I still don't like him, but I'll downgrade from "Cunt" to "arse".
