Jobs

Post by JokerJamie on Wed Oct 07, 2009 12:32 pm

I have a trial day/interview in my local GAME store tonight, and it's got me thinking about the interhood's inhabitant's employment.

Who works, and as what?

Hahah, I remember chatting to you and you saying you wouldn't want a title a while ago. Hypocrite Wink

I don't have a job now seeing as I'm studying full time, but I'd like to thank you guys who pay tax for funding my education. Your army is sending me £600 a month. Smile

It wasn't about the title. I remember saying I like the sound of Sir Sean John Cole but I wouldn't want to be involved with monarchy.
This is a better sir, this is an illegal 'fuck you Queenie' sir.

I'm looking for a proper full time job right now, but for the past year I've been self employed in the adult entertainment business. However it's unstable and not dependable, so it's not going to serve me well without an actual job behind it.

I fear that no matter what the answer to this question is I'm going to look like an idiot, but:

Raine, are you for serious?

Got a part time job in GAME Smile starting Saturday. Finally I'll be able to beat the recession blues.

I actually thing raine is the most interesting person on this forum. Whether you do it purely for shock factor or not, its still brilliant. So do you actually act in pornos? Jesus. It's kinda hard to get over this to be honest.

Oh hey, I'm here to fix the copier and make convincing (if occasionally bewildering) arguments about high-level philosophical and psychological issues accompanied with eye-opening personal reveals.

It's probably the only thing about me that you could consider shocking or somewhat interesting. I'm a pretty boring typical male outside of it.
If anything, other people drag it up in conversation, only to find me quickly dismissing it as it's not that interesting to talk about, I find.

Either way, you can fix your own damn copier. And get me a job at Game, as I'd quite like one.

Its certainly a talking point...

And there is actually another position at Game as 2 people quit. Fancy a trip to Dublin?

Fairplay septula. I'd say that's very fullfilling and its generous as hell. I did some part time work at a home focused entirely on helping the autistic about 3 years ago. It was part of my transition year in school. It really does make you feel good, and I found it very interesting too.
